Dry skin has low levels of oil and insufficient moisture. Dry skin looks dull , is sensitive and is prone to cracks. It also wrinkles faster. Some of the home remedies for treating dry skin are: 1. Mash 1 tablespoon of
ripe banana and add to it 1 tablespoon honey. Apply this mask on the face
and neck and leave it to dry. Then wash it off with cold water. This mask
acts as a moisturizer and helps to make the skin fair. 2. Apply 2 tablespoon raw milk
on the face and neck, leave it to dry. Wash off with cold water. This
helps to get soft skin. You can alternately use 2 tablespoons raw milk
with ½ tablespoon salt, but if you have pimples avoid using this mixture. 3. Aloe vera juice should be
applied to the skin externally or taken in capsule form.
5. For dry skin on the lips, apply cream of milk or almond oil daily.
6. Eat raw licorice (mulethi) herb and ensure that you have enough roughage in your diet.
7. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, so that your skin remains hydrated.
